Ways we can help
Pelvic floor care through pregnancy, birth, and recovery.
Diastasis Recti
Diastasis Recti (DRA) is abdominal separation that happens to 100% of pregnant people around 36 weeks. Its just a way to allow for belly to grow, after delivery, it heals for some without any treatment while others needs targeted treatment. If you have a belly pooch or DRA that would not go away with YouTube videos or random abs exercise, we can help!
Labor Prep Classes
Our labor prep course if very different from one offered at hospital. We have 2 goals for you, one is decrease the chances of perineal tear and second, shorten the duration of pushing phase. Inquire more about our one of a kind labor prep class.
Whether you are prepping for vaginal birth, VBAC or scheduled cesarean, we can help!
Urinary Incontinence
Leaking urine with coughing, sneezing, running, jumping or on way to bathroom might be common but let us tell you, it is NOT normal. It does not get better on its own and certainly gets worse with age and menopause. Let us put a stop to it NOW!
Pelvic Pain
Pelvic Pain is an umbrella term for so many different things. But more often than not, it is related to pelvic floor muscles. Whether you are having pain with sex or gyn exam or tampon use, or with sitting or lifting, we can help you! We are an expert pelvic health team and many patients seek us out for 2nd or 3rd opinions!
C-Section Recovery
We help belly birth mom recover back to their normal self. C-Section is a major abdominal surgery but unlike other surgeries, moms have no time to rest and recover and are expected to carry weight and bounce back fast!
We help you recover from incision pain, build strength and avoid complications so you can focus on spending time with little one!
Pelvic Organ Prolapse
Do you feel heaviness or feeling pressure on vaginal or rectal area with standing or lifting? It could be related to pelvic organ descend/ weakness. We can help you. Many patients are referred straight to surgery or ignored for their symptoms. If you are not sure what next, talk to us, we can help you navigate the options.
Patient stories
Support that helps moms feel heard and capable.
“Dr. Soni is the PT you didn't know you needed. As a Crossfitter, I had proactively sought out a pelvic floor therapist in my 2nd trimester. What I didn't realize was that Dr. Soni is extremely knowledgeable about post-c-section recovery, which is what I ended up needing. Dr. Soni has been someone who I can count on to answer my questions, give me reassurance, and help guide me through questions both during and after pregnancy. There has been a certain peace of mind that Dr. Soni has provided throughout my whole journey!”
“I'm so glad that I decided to go to see Dr. Soni. I have suffered with bladder, side, and bowel discomfort for years and she has helped me so much. The exercises, diet recommendations, and relaxation techniques that she recommended worked great and I feel like myself again. I love her comfortable office atmosphere and focus on my specific issues. She is very knowledgeable and helped me to find relief in areas other than the pelvis that were contributing to my problem. She offers solutions that conventional doctors do not. This gave me a unique and better way of dealing with my pain. I was looking for more holistic healing rather than typical testing and medications and I found that with Dr. Soni. I highly recommend Pelvic Elements!”
"Dr.Soni is amazing. She helped me with pain relief throughout my pregnancy in my tailbone and hips. She also helped me prep for my labor and delivery, giving me exercises and tools to help me achieve my goal of having a natural childbirth. I was able to delivery my baby with no perineal tearing and pushed for only 5 minutes. I truly believe the preparation we did played a role in the outcome of my delivery. Even after my labor, I will be seeing her to strengthen my pelvic floor and get acclimated."
"I went to Dr.Soni after doing research for physical therapist specialized in addressing abdominal diastasis recti after pregnancy. She addressed every aspect, including my csection scar which was an added bonus. I have noticed a large difference in my abdominal wall and c section incision since going to her. I'm very happy with the progress she has helped me make!
